Location Planning Module

This Module allows the Environmental Designer to create Location Plans and manage a plan's associated data. The Module includes an editable library of Sign Symbols, a new Sign record, a Sign Schedule worksheet, and an editable catalog of Sign types. After you have installed Vectorworks 12, refer to the Location Planning Module installation instructions for complete instruction and documentation.

SketchUp Plug-in (UPDATED 5/02/06)

The plug-in automatically translates SketchUp model geometry and components into Vectorworks floor, walls, roofs faces, and symbols. You can choose to map SketchUp model geometry in three ways: by material, by layer, or by geometry.

Please note: This download is for use with Vectorworks 12.0.0 and 12.0.1 only. (The VW 12.5.0 installer and updater add the SketchUp plug-in and necessary files).

Environmental Design Module

This Module allows Environmental Designer to create Location Plans and manage a plan's associated data. The Module includes an editable library of Sign Symbols, a new Sign record, a Sign Schedule worksheet, and modifications to Vectorworks ARCHITECT’s ID tool. After you have installed Vectorworks ARCHITECT, simply copy the contents of these folders as indicated. Please refer to the README for complete installation instruction and documentation.

Wall Type Tool Fix

This download fixes a problem present in the original updater for 10.1.2, in which
the Wall Type Tool (Straight) and Wall Type Tool (Round) would not use the wall
types selected by the Select Wall Type command. To install, decompress the download and copy the included files to the Plug-ins folder in your working Vectorworks installation. Then restart Vectorworks.

Textures

These are replacement textures for Vectorworks Architect 9. They address
the NNA_Phong errors which occur if the original Architect textures are mixed with the RenderWorks textures in the same document. To install, simply unstuff or unzip the file and replace the files in your current textures folder.

Show Floor View/ Show Ceiling View Commands

These are two menu commands that you can add to your workspace that will make managing reflected ceiling plans easier. Selecting Show Floor View will set all your doors and windows made from Vectorworks ARCHITECT plug-ins (whether they are plug-ins or symbols made from plug-ins) to the floor view, i.e., the "Ceiling View" setting will be unchecked. Selecting Show Ceiling View does the opposite. These plug-ins have not yet been formally released and are provided on an unsupported basis. The download is a 4k .zip file.

VA Bonus 1: Pick Wall Type

Pick Wall Type is a bonus release for users of Vectorworks ARCHITECT only. It contains a command that allows VA users to see descriptions for the current wall types and quickly pick from them. Works with with Architect 1.0.1 only.

VA_Sheet-Layer-Class_Stds.pdf

This is a PDF file which illustrates a worksheet of the sheet, layer, and class settings used in Vectorworks ARCHITECT. Each column in the worksheet represents a sheet and rows represent layers or classes. Marks in the worksheet cells indicates whether a layer or class is visible or grayed for a particular sheet. Descriptions of layers, classes, and their uses are included. To print this file you will need a large-format printer.
