Vectorworks 12.0.1 English-language Updater Download Page
This single download will update all English-language Vectorworks 12 products (ARCHITECT, LANDMARK, SPOTLIGHT, MECHANICAL, Vectorworks, and Renderworks) to version 12.0.1. If you are currently using a version of Vectorworks prior to 12, you must first install 12.0.0 and then update to 12.0.1 using this updater.
This updater will ask for the current location of your Vectorworks installation and will update it in place. It modifies only files which were originally installed with the product and leaves other files untouched. If you have customized Vectorworks since installing, you should make a backup prior to installing the 12.0.1 update.
Customers can download the online updater or for a nominal shipping fee, users can request the final 12.0.1 installer on CD by calling 410-290-5114. International customers should contact their local distributor for pricing and availability.
We are providing documentation for some new features in 12.0.1, as well as the SketchUp import plug-in, which is included in this release.
Download Instructions
Step 1
Determine if you have the correct version for updating.
The updater will update all English-language Vectorworks 12 products to 12.0.1.
If you do not have version 12, or are not sure that your update will work, please contact sales@nemetschek.net or call 410-290-5114. International customers should contact their local distributor.
Step 2
Quit all other applications, except your web browser,
and then download the Updater. Note- you must remain connected to the internet when you run the updater, as it will download support files as part of the update process. Because of this, users with slow or unreliable internet connections and users behind proxy servers
or very restrictive firewalls may experience problems. If this is the case for you, please re-run
the updater after a few hours. If you continue to experience difficulty, we recommend that you order
12.0.1 on CD.
Step 3
To install the update, run the updater application
and follow onscreen instructions. You will be asked
to identify which copy of Vectorworks you want
to update to 12.0.1. On the Mac you will be asked to authenticate using an administrator account.
