This is a new command that allows you to select certain 2D plug-in objects and create a 3D plug-in object using the same parameters as the 2D object. This is a great time saver when creating a 3D model from a 2D drawing that contains many plug-in objects. Along with the command is a pdf file that explains the command and contains two tutorials: (1) How to create a 2D shaft of multiple segments and (2) How to create a 3D shaft from the 2D using the new command.
* note- for pc users using Internet Explorer right-click on the pdf link to save the file to your hard drive (as opposed to simply opening it in your browser window). |
