VectorWorks Donated to KLC School of Design Student Design Contest Winner

Columbia, Maryland (July 9, 2007)—–Nemetschek North America announced today that, in conjunction with its UK distributor Computers Unlimited, it has donated copies of VectorWorks Designer and RenderWorks to this year’s winner of the KLC School of Design’s annual Student Design Contest, James Waterworth.

Each year KLC invites the students in its interior design and garden design diploma and certification programs to participate in a design competition. The winner is chosen based on the student’s entire body of work produced over the course of the current school year.

“Design professionalism is the drive, and all diploma students train on VectorWorks as part of their highly-intensive course,” says Piers Prideaux, KLC School of Design course instructor. “KLC has been training their students on VectorWorks for over a decade and has helped in seeding the CAD skills within the UK’s high-end design industry. Our partner companies, Nemetschek North America and Computers Unlimited, have very generously donated copies of VectorWorks Designer and RenderWorks to the student who has embraced the tools of CAD and integrated them into their work to the highest degree throughout the year. This prize will prove to be highly valuable to their on-going progress and success within the industry.”
