Shadows, color, and atmospheric effects allow you to create the mood you want. Ray-trace rendering samples your design pixel by pixel, producing vivid 3D rendering effects including anti-aliasing, realistic lighting behavior and shadows. Shadow options allow you to add hard or soft shadows to your scenes. You can add such atmospheric effects as snow, fog, and lit fog for a more dramatic effect.
